Spring Foraging Workshops in Sussex (2020)

24/03/2020. COVID-19: Due to government restrictions on people gathering for “leisure activities” in groups of more than two, it is not possible for anybody to attend these workshops until further notice. Since there is currently no information available as to whether the government will compensate me if I refund people’s money, and since I have very little other income, I am in an impossible position. I cannot even tell people what I am going to do about it, because I don’t know. As soon as there is clarity from the government about who is going to be compensated for what, I will contact everybody who has booked a place.

Spring foraging workshops at Brede, East Sussex

Our spring foraging workshops take place at our headquarters in private woodland in Brede, a few miles north of Hastings. They are primarily focused on the lush spring plant growth: leaves, flowers and also some roots. It is mainly about food, but we also take a look at some plants and fungi of medicinal interest, plus any spring fungi which happen to be fruiting. A foraged lunch is supplied, and I will cook a couple of dishes over our campfire. These events are vegetarian-friendly, but not entirely vegan. 14 places per event. Start time is 10.30, ending about 2.30. £45.

Sunday April 5th. FULLY BOOKED.

Saturday April 18th. 11 places available.

An extra date will be added on the weekend of April 25th/26th if these two are fully booked. Please let me know if you specifically want to do a course on that weekend.
